As you walk the floors of the townhouse, the doors open to vast offices which are bathed in light, and your eye is drawn to every detail — the height of the ceilings, the intricate mouldings and the superior furniture design. Down a corridor, there is a table by Jean Prouvé and a Pierre Jeanneret armchair. Sophistication reigns supreme. It is understated, yet complex, just like Sandro. The space currently covers an area of 2,700 m2, where the brand houses all of its departments, including its design studio and workshop. Sandro currently employs more than 1,700 staff worldwide, every one of whom gets to work closely with the Head Office.
150, Boulevard Haussmann: this is where Sandro is setting up their new creative space. All throughout the Square Beaujon, the street resonates with fashion and art. Sandro’s new home is a townhouse, built in the 1860s in accordance with Baron Haussmann’s instructions. The main building had been altered once in the 1930s, when a first extension was added, creating an L-shape; and then again in 1969, when it was heightened. A solarium was created opposite the courtyard with a fountain, bringing all of the buildings together. Inside, a patio has been transformed into a Japanese garden.
